   Jeff Klein and Laura Puchalski, formerly of Millstone Market in Sunderland, are the proud new owners of the Country Corner Store in Bernardston, MA.

  Jeff brings with him more then 20 years of food service and restaurant management experience.  His creative menus have continued to please diners in the Delaware area for the last decide.  He has spent the last 3 years as a butcher at Millstone Market, serving the community of Sunderland by providing custom cuts of fresh meats and his own homemade meatballs, meatloaf, salads, and other specialty items of his creation.  He prided himself on knowing almost every one of his customers by name, and he intends to continue this great level of customer service at the Country Corner Store.

   Laura was also previously a baker for Mirling’s Bakery in Greenfield, and she also spent the last 3 years at Millstone Market working at the front counter serving customers, ordering merchandise, and generally just getting to know and enjoying the many friendly faces of her customers.  Jeff and Laura are thrilled to be taking on a new and thriving business, and they hope to make a lot of improvements to the Country Corner Store that will better serve the community of Bernardston.

   In addition to some of the great services and products that the Country Corner Store already offers such as movie rentals, lottery, beer and wine, and local products such as produce and maple syrup from Bernardston farmers, and Snow’s scoop ice cream, Jeff and Laura have home made chicken salad, and expanded selection of freshly cut meats and produce and a variety of grocery items with more to follow  Their goals are simple: to provide a selection of fresh, custom cut meats, deli items, produce, and a wide variety of groceries and handmade gift items in a traditional, friendly “country store” atmosphere.  Jeff and Laura, as well as the rest of the terrific staff at the County Corner Store, look forward to serving the community of Bernardston and the surrounding town.  Jeff is the coolest dude around ha ha.
